After close to the worst week of his life, Robbie Hunt has decided to call it a day and retire from tomorrow's first day of the Tasmanian B14 State championships. Rumours are that Senior Hunt, better known as Q, is going to step in and take the stick to pair up with the rockstar crew Ben Price for tomorrows racing.
Hunt ate the sausage along with a number of mates at a recent barrel on Monday night and has since been suffering with a Fever, shaking and everything else that goes well with a toilet. As of today he has managed to shead a total of 7 kilo's off his normally skinng body. He's been living on Hydralyte icypoles for the last few days and has only just got back onto basic solids today. The fleet will miss him tomorrow and are hoping he will be back on deck for Sunday's session.
Looking to tomorrow's racing, the fleet are expecting to see Quentin sporting similar wares to last time he sailed a B14 at the previous Kingston State championships in 2012. Quentin's fastest race getup includes Jeans tucked into wollen explorer socks with a heavy cotton rugby top.
Conditions are expected to be Northerly at between 10 and 15 knots around midday so all the sailors will be looking forward to some great racing off the Beach tomorrow.
