This weekend sees the UK fleet head to Whitstable for one of the favourite events of the season. Great sailing venue, bar and food - the Whitstable TT tends to be one of the best on the calendar. A great tune up event prior to the 2015 Europeans (see below!) in a few weeks time.
Heading over on Friday night for a few pre-regatta beers is popular, more info on the forum thread.

UPDATED: Sailing Instructions added (linked below).
Entry Form, NOR and Social calendar for the Europeans at Rock, 5-8 September, went out to the class mailing list by e-mail today (and are linked below. Word version of Entry Form available via Google Drive) - this is an event not to be missed! Please get your entry in nice and early to take advantage of the discounted entry fee.
Rock is both a great sailing venue and a great place to simply spend some time - it has the added bonus of being surrounded by sandy beaches, cafes, pastie shops, pubs by the sea, cycle trails, crazy golf, surf beaches, cream teas (more pasties..), as many Rick Stein food emporiums as you can shake a stick at just over the ferry in Padstow etc. etc.
In simple terms it is a great place to sail and there is plenty to do for the non-sailors in your party. Please let us know who is coming here (forum thread).

Day 3 and the B14 fleet woke to wind whistling through the rigging. R/O Mike Rayden held the fleet ashore for 1 hour to let the breeze subside from 35 knots.
On cue, the wind gods did their job and the breeze started to drop around 1100. Helping each other and with some club assistance the fleet launched quickly into an onshore breeze and sea.
