tt01a-2011The first B14 Ullman Sails TT event of 2011 took place at Rutland Sailing Club on the 26th and 27th March 2011.

It was a light forecast but on the Saturday the fleet were greeted by a Force 3 easterly which gave the crews a chance to blow away the cobwebs in which most cases it was their first outings of the year.

Saturday brought gusty winds which gave the fleet a lot of opportunities for overtaking downwind, making the racing very close with frequent place changes and most races getting decided on the last run.

gbr01The B14 fleet arrived at Grafham to be greeted by sunny skies and a fair breeze.

Sharing the course with the 29ers, the B14s were the first fleet to start, sailing on the outer course. The stage was set, in a shifty and gusty force 2 – 3, a story was to unfold.

tt5-2010The 5th Ullman Sails TT Event was held at Whitstable Yacht Club over the weekend of the 5th & 6th June. With the World Championships on the horizon the results of the latest event in the Ullman Sails B14 UK Series were going to be watched with interest. A compact but incredibly competitive fleet arrived at Whitstable YC for an event shared with the Musto Skiffs and Cherubs. The fleet was greeted by sunshine and very little breeze however all the locals were promising a Whitstable classic sea breeze.
